Dear Parents/Guardians,

The safety of all of our students, staff, parents and members of the surrounding community is of utmost importance to us here in Powerstown ETNS.  As such, we would like to remind you of our school Traffic Management Plan.  Please note the following:

• The area in front of the school is DROP OFF ONLY.  Parents may release children to a staff member supervising in the Drop Off Area who will ensure they are safely supervised as they make their way to morning assembly.
• Please do not let your children get out of the car until you have pulled in safely in the Drop Off Area.  Children should cross the road at the PEDESTRIAN CROSSING ONLY.  When cars stop in the drive-through area, traffic builds up quickly and it is slower for everyone!
• If you wish to walk your child to morning assembly you must park in the PARKING AREA which is located just inside the entrance gates at the top of the hill.
• Please note that the Disability Parking Bay is strictly reserved for children who have a physical disability that require assistance to get to the assembly area and the school bus.

We would also like to remind parents to drive and park responsibly in the area surrounding the school.  Please be considerate of local residents’ access to their homes and take care when driving near grass verges.
