Application and Decision Dates for admission to PETNS AUTISM CLASSES for 2024/2025
The following are the dates applicable for admission to AUTISM CLASSES
1. The school will commence accepting applications for admission to the special class on |

2. The school shall cease accepting applications for admission to the special class on |
27/11/2023 |
3. The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application for admission to the special class is |
4/12/2023 |
4. The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is |

AUTISM CLASS APPLICATIONS FOR 2023/2024
Please note our Autism Class Applications are now closed for 2023/2024. Late applications will be processed every 3- 4 weeks
We have NO PLACES available for 2023/2024 school year
All applications who meet Department of Education & NCSE criteria (below) can be added to our “Late Applicants” waiting list for 2023/2024
- Diagnosis of Autism ICD 10 / DSM V
- Presentation of complex needs whereby a specific recommendation for an autism class is detailed in report (recommendation of mainstream place OR autism class is not sufficient)

Please note that our waiting lists are valid for one academic year only.
If you are on our waiting list for 2023/24 school year and wish to be on our waiting list for 2024/2025 school year you need to apply again.
This is to ensure only people who need a school place are on our waiting list.
All application will be processed in line with Admissions Notice below i.e you will you receive confirmation that your application has been received, however you will not get a letter from the school until 3 – 4 weeks after application
