In addition to the on-going services there are two additional events this month:

Health and Information Day for Family Carers to celebrate National Carers Week – Friday 14th June 10.30 am – 12.30 pm ( in association with The Carers Association)

SafeTALK – Suicide Alertness and Prevention Training – suitable for anyone interested in creating a suicide safer  community –

in conjuction with HSE Mental Health Promotion Service Tuesday 25th June 1.30 pm – 5.15 pm  (Free training course)

On-going Services

  • Crosscare Connections – volunteer befriending service providing companionship to older people and family carers to reduce isolation

  • Carer Support Service for Parents of Children with Special Needs

  • Social Activities for People with learning disabilities

  • Teen Counselling Service for young people and their parents

  • Counselling Service – Drug /Alcohol issues

  • Community Foodbank, supporting people in need of emergency food support in D15 (in partnership with SVP)

  • Cura Crisis Pregnancy Support Services

  • SASSY Counselling Service – young people under 18 years

  • Gamblers Anonymous – weekly on Tuesday 8pm
