Powerstown Educate Together National School invite applications for School Bus Escort.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The School Bus Escort travels on a bus / taxi with pupils attending Powerstown ETNS, supervising them on the journey to and from school.

The School Bus Escort day runs from approximately 7.45am until 8.20am and from 2.10pm until 2.45pm for the duration of the school calendar. (Hours are dependant on traffic & route)

Candidates should have experience in working with children, have an understanding of additional needs and be able to communicate with parents and school staff in a professional way.

School Bus Escorts will be expected to travel to and from an agreed pick-up and drop-off point to meet the bus driver.

Training will be provided.

Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting form.

Hourly rate of pay will be €13.40 (+holiday pay – Bus Escorts will not be paid during school holidays)
