We are currently updating our Child Safeguarding Statement and Child Protection Procedures, in line with Department of Education and Youth (DEY) Circular 0041/2025 and the Child Protection Procedures for Schools (2025). Publication of Child Protection Procedures for Schools 2025
As part of this process, we have established:
- a Staff Committee, and
- a Children’s Committee,
to support the drafting of the updated procedures and to help create a child-friendly version of the policy that is accessible and meaningful for our pupils.
Your voice is an important part of this process. A draft of the updated Child Safeguarding Statement has been emailed to you, and we invite you to read it at your convenience.
