On a rare occassion parents/guardians may have to collect their child EARLY from school.

If this case arises, parents/guardians are asked to inform the school of early collection in advance. You can email teacher or school office (info@powerstownet.com) write a note in child’s homework notebook, write a letter to teacher, let teacher know the day before at collection time, drop into the office in the morning and let a staff member know or phone the office 01 8272018.

Please let staff member know date and time of early collection. This will allow for children to be ready and waiting for parents/guardians at the collection time.  It will also ensure that the school secretary can stay in the office to complete her daily tasks.

Children are not permitted to be collected 10 minutes before home time without prior notice. This is due to the fact that it will take 10 minutes for the teacher to be notified, the child to gather their belongings and for the child to be escorted down to the office to parents/guardians.
