On Tuesday 10th of May the Eason Spelling Bee county Dublin Finals took place in the Hilton Hotel in Malahide. We had our very own Powerstown Spelling Bee winner Viswa Kothapalli  from 6th class attend. He represented our school against over 40 other children from different schools throughout Dublin. 

Viswa took the day in his stride, remaining calm throughout the competition as he and the contestants were asked to spell very complex words. We’re very proud to report that he succeeded to the final round of the competition. 

We’re all incredibly proud of his success in making it to the final round. You did an amazing Viswa!
