The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) of the HSE has prepared advice on the Ebola virus for those in childcare, school and college settings.
The HPSC advise that the risk of the Ebola virus disease arriving in Ireland is very low.

The Department of Education and Skills will also be carrying a link to this advice on our National Emergencies/Public Health Issues webpage and will be alerting schools and colleges that this information is available.

In the event of a national emergency or a public health issue the Department’s Parents, Learners and Database (PLDS) will disseminate information from the lead government department or agency to the education sector.
