On Thursday Elm class conducted lots of fun experiments for Science week

The first experiment involved creating a leak proof bag. We noticed that quickly jabbing the plastic bag filled of water with sharp pencils ensured no loss of water! 

For our second experiment we made some raisins dance using sparkling water! 

Next we made our very own lava lamps! 

Finally, we explored air pressure using tea lights, mason jars and containers of water. Once the mason jars were placed over the tea lights, the tea light went out as it ran out of oxygen and fire needs oxygen to live!
