It’s safe to say the Redwood class are experts in all things Ancient Egypt! This week the children explored encyclopedias, the National Geographic magazines and websites to find out about different aspects of Egypt, like mummification, hieroglyphics, important animals and pharaohs. They even created papyrus papers using the old Egyptian technique of pressing wet paper strips using rolling pins. Can you translate some of the coded hieroglyphics?
