Happy New Year!

One of the goals for Powerstown ETNS this term is to celebrate the diversity in our school community.

We want to ensure that the languages and cultures of our school community are recognised and celebrated in our school.

We aim to extend our bilingual library (books in English and languages spoken by our pupils/families), purchase books about different counties, cultures and traditions.

We hope to create a mural that represents us all as a community and celebrates our diversity in the school e.g. has language you speak, traditions you celebrate and possibly mythology from a country e.g. Ireland Cú Chulainn, Poland The Dragon of Krakow, Pakistan Hani and Sheh Mureed
