L.T. noticeboards are labelled with a sign – teachers add their own banner header to suit their display. Ideally these noticeboards are updated by the end of first/early second week of the month so that they link with the theme of the month for the school.

Assembly: 

The first assembly of the month is a whole school assembly – for everyone to attend at 9am in the hall – both junior and senior performances will take place during the same assembly; awards given out and any school news discussed etc.

***REMINDER*** We are looking for ‘good news highlights’ from classes during assembly – Children benefit from some scaffolding with this so try to chat at home about the highlights of the week on Thursday afternoon!

  • We will have a supporting visit from our Community Gardaí

Dress-up Day and Cake Sale – Friday 26th 

  • Student Council will launch (by visiting classes) and promote (by making and displaying posters around the school) this event.
  • Families (and any willing staff!) invited to make/buy baked goods for cake sale
  • PTA and senior members of Student Council to work at Cake Sale event
  • Children and staff to dress-up in anything they wish (or not)

Mid-Term Break – Monday 29th October – Friday 2nd November  

Note: Student Council may make the decision to hold other events/activities during this month and they will inform you about this as soon as possible.
