Maths Week Ireland 2013 will take place from 12th October – 20^th October 2013. We are making a special effort at Powerstown ETNS to mark the occasion.

There will be a special emphasis on Maths throughout the week and we will be inviting parents to come in on specific “Maths Days” throughout the week.

Parents and Guardians are asked to assist us by participating in “Maths for Fun” from 8.30am – 9am on different days for different classes. Parents and guardians are invited to come into their child’s class and play numerous fun and simple maths games with the children. Teachers will have all the games laid out on the table with simple instructions. Please let the class teacher know if you can come in.

Throughout the week the children will participate in numerous quizzes, maths trails and maths challenges. We will keep you updates on our Maths activities through our school website and class blogs.
