The 10th annual Maths Week Ireland, an all island celebration of Mathematics, is on October 10th to 18th 2015. Here in PETNS we have a range of fun and interactive activities for the children to participate in. Here is the timetable of events with a brief description of activities

Parents are invited in for Maths for Fun Activities

Monday: Sycamore Class (Elaine’s Senior Infants) @ 8.30am

Tuesday: Ash & Chestnut Class (Andy & Aoife’s Junior Infants) @8.30am.

Wednesday: Oak (Eoin’s Senior Infants) @8.30am

This is a fun way for parents to get involved in the classroom through playing simple and fun maths games with groups of children. All the games will be on the tables, with instructions and teachers will show you how to play them. If you have 10 or 15 minutes to spare in the morning, please go into your child’s class. You will really enjoy it!
