All staff attended our Primary Language Curriculum Training on Tuesday in Dublin West Education Centre.

Staff were introduced to the Reading and Writing strands of the new curriculum in English and Gaeilge.

It was a very informative session, that emphaised the need for skill development.

We were delighted that it was noticed that we are implementing best practices with our PM Reading Scheme and our First Step Writing Scheme. It is also noted that teachers are a fantastic job differentiating for all children, including our high achievers through station teaching and content and skill objectives.

Staff will begin to introduce the new curriculum into their planning in the coming weeks.
