Our PTA would like to invite ALL PARENTS to get involved in our first Parents’ Book Club meet up for Autism Awareness.

We have chosen to read Can You See Me by Libby Scott and Rebecca Westcott. This book is available to buy in multiple languages on Amazon or Kindle or you could borrow it from the local library.

You can also order this book through our school Scholastic Online Book Club for the discounted price of €6.50. If bought through Scholastic, 20% of the value of the book is donated back to the school to spend on more books! To order through the school, use THIS LINK and order before next Friday March 15th. The books will be distributed the following week.

The book contains diary entries and autism facts written by 11-year old Libby Scott, based on her own experiences of autism, as well as fictional text written by author Rebecca Westcott. It has been described as ‘enlightening’, ‘honest’ and ‘beautiful’. We are excited to read it!

We will meet on April 18th @ 8.30am in the school lobby. We can chat about the book and about Autism Awareness over a cuppa and some treats.
