Update on Whole School Play – Peter Pan

Dear Parents / Guardians,

We are all getting very excited about our Whole School Performance “Peter Pan – the Musical” in Tyrrelstown Community Centre, on Friday 19th of June at 6.30pm.

We had our first full rehearsal today and our costumes are looking AMAZING.

Children will be going over lines for the play and choreography daily over the coming days. Please ensure that your child is in school every day, so they know exactly where to stand on stage and know their cues.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE ATTACHED FROM TO LET US KNOW IF YOUR CHILD CAN PARTICPATE IN THE PLAY ON FRIDAY 19th JUNE 2015.

Rehearsals Friday 19th:

During school hours, children will walk over to the community centre with staff. Please ensure your child is wearing comfortable shoes, has plenty to drink and their lunch.

What children are to wear Friday evening:

As the play is taking place in Tyrrelstown Community Centre we have limited space available for changing into costumes. Please ensure your child comes to Community Centre wearing black pumps, black tracksuit/leggings, black t-shirt. This will make changing into and out of costumes much easier!

Call times:

In order to prepare for the show, we require children to arrive to the Community Centre prior to the performance.  We ask that the children present at the Community Centre at the following times;

  • 3rd – 6th Class: 5:15pm
  • 1st – 2nd Class: 5.30pm
  • Senior Infants: 5.50pm
  • Junior Infants: 6:00pm

Children are asked to arrive by class for organisational reasons. This will allow us ample time to change into our costumes and prepare for our fantastic show “Peter Pan”.

Parents arriving:

Doors open at 6.15pm. Show will start at 6.30pm sharp. Please note that only 80 car park spaces are available outside the community centre. Once these spaces are full, cars will have to park on Hollywood Road or Tyrrelstown Centre.

We need parent volunteers to make this musical a success.
