This week, we have been learning about germination. Using chromebooks, we researched the life cycle of a plant. In English, we wrote an explanation piece explaining the process. We wrote about the dormant seed, germination and finally about sprouting. We drew diagrams to improve our explanation. In Science, we planted some seeds. We planted courgette, tomato, radish and basil seeds and we can’t wait for them to grow! Although as we have completed our research, we know we won’t see any sprouting anytime soon. Over the next few weeks, we will be taking good care of our seeds, watering them and keeping them close to sunlight. Then hopefully in the summer, we will have some tasty vegetables, fruits and leaves to taste!
