congratsCongratulations – all our hard work has paid off! Powerstown Educate Together National School has achieved a Discover Primary Science and Maths Plaque of STEM Excellence for the 2014/15 academic year. A Plaque of STEM Excellence is the highest award that a school can achieve and commends Powerstown ETNS for deeper engagement, whole school involvement and external science engagement in Science and Maths Programme for 2014/2015 academic year.

Huge well done to our co-ordinator Cróna Glynn for all her hard work, congratulations to our pupils for participating and our parents for getting involved in maths for Fun, Science For Fun, Science  Week, Engineer’s Week and all other science and maths activities this year!

It is fantastic to see all of the science, technology, engineering and maths work being carried out in Powerstown ETNS with such enthusiasm.  Thank you for your efforts and I hope that you all enjoyed taking part in the Awards of Science & Maths Excellence programme with us this year and will continue to do so in the future.dpsm
