Bike Week runs from 19th to 27th September 2020.

Just under 4000 bicycles have been stolen this year and less than half recovered. The demand for bicycles has increased dramatically over the past number of months. One of biggest challenges when Gardaí recover them is to try and identify the owner.

Very few if any record the serial number or have a photo of their property.

Bicycles are very expensive and consideration should be given to improve the security.

So please take a photo of your child’s bike & record the serial number!
