Happy Friday everyone!

First of all, thank you for the school community for the amazing support, Bag2School collected 311.5kgs of clothes and raised fund €124.60 with additional 10% going to Laura Lynn Foundation.

Kids had a great surprise this week from The Lunch Bag company with the welcome packs. The school is now set up on their list and you can order lunch for your child(ren) via The Lunch Bag application until 12pm the previous working day.

Today there was a lot of communication from school and we understand that not everyone will have the chance to read through all the post and remember all the dates. Here is a quick summary below with the highlights and hopefully it will make it easier to pick what message you need to double check. The school calendar on Aladdin is also back into operation, make sure you check it regularly to keep up-to-date.

– New Breakfast and After School Care from September by Kids Inc – details were sent via email as well as Aladdin.

– 7-11th of March – Engineering week for infant classes, check Aladdin for parent volunteer registration form.

– 16th of March – Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with breakfast for parents at 8:30am and performance at 9:00am.

– 21st of March Down Syndrome Day, wearing purple is encouraged.

– 22nd of March – 29th of March Book Fair, parent volunteers needed to help.

– 24th of March 1pm-2pm – Shared reading for 1st-6th class, parents are invited to come into school to read a story.

– 25th of March – Powerstown Book Dress Up Day.
