Answer: It is important to state that the government and NPHET have said school’s are safe, controlled environments. All pupils are encouraged to return to school with their peers “as normal.”

However, if you are choosing not to send your child to school please

1. Email covid19@powerstownet.com AND your child’s class teacher and let us know
2. We will compile a list of children not returning to school
3. Some staff will continue to work remotely and may be in a position to support your child remotely on a temporary basis during this phased re-opening period. 
4. We would need time to allocate pupils to staff, so please email BEFORE MONDAY 1ST MARCH. Hopefully supports can then be in place for your child my mid-week.
