Parents, Guardians and Friends,

Powerstown ETNS re-opens after summer break tomorrow, Wednesday 27th of August 2014. Our new Junior Infant pupils are starting at 9am. All other classes are starting at the normal time of 8.30am.

We are delighted to be welcoming so many new families and friends to our school tomorrow. We are really looking forward to getting to know you all and welcoming you to the Powerstown community! We will have over 160 pupils in the school for the 2014/2015 school year and we will have 7 classrooms. We are almost doubling in size this school year and will soon be running out of classrooms! (Roll on our permanent building!) All class lists are on display on our notice board and in the basketball courts. We have also sent out text messages to all parents.

This year I am delighted to inform you that we have 7 new teachers and 2 new SNAs. A BIG welcome to Andy, Aoife, Eoin, Louise, Ann Marie, Sheila, Maeve, Kavitha and Theresa! They have all been working really hard to ensure that their classrooms are ready for all the pupils tomorrow.
