Dear Parents/Guardians

Our school office is closed tomorrow due to the Fórsa directed strike of schools secretaries across the country.

The “Support our Secretary” (SOS) Campaign demand that the Minister for Education and Skills respect and value all School Secretaries, by ensuring that every School Secretary receives fair pay and conditions. 

As a school we truly value the fantastic work our secretary Ann does on a daily basis. Her job is multifaceted. She is the heart of the school and a great support to all staff, pupils and parents. We strongly support the Fórsa campaign to ensure Ann receives fair pay and conditions. 

I urge you all to support the SOS campaign and sign the petition here. 

As the office will be closed tomorrow, school phone and emails will not be answered. If you URGENTLY need to get in touch with the school please email principal@powerstownet.com.

Please note that access to the school will be extremely restricted as there will be nobody in the office/at front door.
