Ireland-2016-largePowerstown E.T.N.S. is looking forward to participating in the national celebration of the centenary of 1916!

Each class has been working on an aspect of Irish culture and history around 1916 and will create a display of this work in the run up to Proclamation and Flag Day. This will also compliment the events celebrating the Irish language and culture during Seachtain na Gaeilge (7th-16th March).
Here is a short presentation giving a simple and brief overview of the 1916 rising.
