The first ever Kite Festival is taking place at North Bull Island Beach, Clontarf from 11am to 5pm. The event promises to be an exhilarating, action packed day of family fun, children of all ages are welcome to come along and entertainment is free all day

Highlights of the day will include;

  • Children’s kite making workshops
  • ‘Hot Tricks’ by master kite flyers
  • A kite making competition
  • Kite ballet demonstration

Children can bring their own kite, make a kite on the day or make a kite at school/at home using our easy ‘How to make a kite guide’ which is attached.
