Welcome to a New School Year @PETNS.

Welcome to the 2012/2013 school year at Powerstown ETNS. We hope you all had a great summer and are looking forward to a busy, eventful year in PETNS!

We are loving our new building! We have so much space both inside and out. On the ground floor we have 4 classrooms. Each classroom has state of the art ICT equipment with interactive projectors, visualisers & desktops for children’s use. We also have 2 resource rooms & a Chill Out (Mulit-sensory Room) for children to use!

We are delighted to have so many familiar and new faces in the school. We are grown rapidly over the summer months. We now have 4 classes.

Junior Infants are the Chestnut Class. Their teacher is Katie Flynn. Senior Infants are the Ash Class and Lorraine Cullivan is their teacher. 1st and 2nd class is the Sycamore class and Helena Reganteaches them. The Oak Class is 3rd & 4th class & Cróna Glynn in their teacher.

We look forward to getting to know all our new parents and families over the coming days, weeks and months. We hope you all will become active members of our school community.
