We have sent out emails to parents to inform them of their child’s attendance this academic year. If you wish to discuss your child’s attendance in further detail, please make an appointment to speak with your child’s class teacher. Please note that the school is legally obliged to report attendance concerns and situations whereby a child misses 20 days or more of school to the Education Welfare Officer.

School Attendance – What every parent needs to know

As you are aware teaching commences at 8.30am daily. Children are received in the school yard from 8.20am. It is important that your child arrives to school ON TIME every day.

If your child has missed more than 1hour of school this academic year due to being late, we have also sent you an email. Many teachers have already spoken to parents about punctuality concerns. However, we are asking parents to make appointments to meet with class teacher and Helena to discuss punctuality concerns.

Punctuality is important
