Dear Parents,

The HSE will be coming to the school on Friday 11th January to administer the 4 in 1 & MMR vaccinations to JUNIOR INFANT pupils.

A small quiet room will be used for the vaccinations. A member of staff will be with your child at all times. Another staff  member will escort children up to the room where HSE personnel will administer the vaccine.

Children will be observed by HSE for 10  minutes after,  to ensure he/she has no adverse side effects to the vaccine. A staff member will then escort your child back to his/her class.

Parents can be with their child if they wish, however it is not necessary as at least one staff member will be with your child at all times, as well as minimum of two HSE staff.
