Parents/Guardians,

We hope that in the near future we will be in a position to invite parents/guardians back into the school to assist with lots of school activities and events such as Shared Reading sessions; Field trips; Swimming and lots more.

Please note all parents and guardians who wish to help in Powerstown ETNS MUST be Garda Vetted first.

Anyone who was previously vetted, will need to apply again.

To do this, firstly go to our parent page for information on the E-Vetting Process – Then bring along the following documentation to the school:

1. Completed NVB1 form.

Note: Please specify which role you would like to be vetted for, e.g. Shared Reading Volunteer, Field Trip Volunteer, Swimming Lessons Volunteer, Winter Fair Volunteer. Forms that identify their role as ‘Volunteer’ without specific detail are not accepted by the vetting office

2. Provide proof of ID and address – Please note: The ID must be accepted under the NVB 100-point checklist. The ID is verified by the principal and who will then forward the application to the National Office.

3. Photocopies of the ID and address document documents. (Please note that the school is not in a position to photocopy documents at this time)

Applications will be accepted from the 11th – 22nd October 2021. (Applications received after these dates will not be processed)

**Documents should be dropped into the green box outside the office only**.
