This month in the Willow class, we will be learning about Japan for Intercultural May. We have enjoyed starting our projects, reading up about the famous Japanese baseball player Ichiro Suzuki and drawing cherry blossoms (the national flower or Japan in art). On Wednesday, we got the chance to try some traditional Japanese foods such as wasabi, noodles and the snack pocky. We also all got a pair of chopsticks and practiced using them. We can’t wait to learn more about Japan next week!
